Zapata and Goatee bid farewell

February 6, 1995.
First Graham Gooch fell for 4, hitting one straight back to Craig McDermott. And just about a quarter of an hour later, Mike Gatting was castled by the same bowler for 8. By the end of the day, England had collapsed to 27 for 5 in their quest for an impossible 453-run target. The defeat would follow the following day.

That miserable afternoon was the farewell for the two stalwarts, men who together amounted to 197 Tests (and a couple of Rebel Tours). The renowned zapata moustache and the famed goatee would never bat for England again.
